What you’ll do:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an DQR Inspector at our Titchfield site. To perform source inspection and release product shipment on behalf of Customers and their requirements.

  • Maintains a safe working environment and adopts a 5S approach to working.
  • Drives and sustains an attitude to continuous improvement as defined by Eaton standards.
  • Always maintains a high standard of housekeeping as defined by the Eaton standards.
  • Provide inspection cover in other areas if business demand is necessary.
  • Inspection and measurement of parts to ensure conformance to drawing and purchase order requirements, working within the parameters as laid down in procedures and work instructions.
  • Support all departments assisting with quality-related investigations upon request.
  • Ability to conduct First Article reports and monitor the production of statistical process control data - preferred.
  • Perform and assist in investigations into non-conformance if necessary.
  • Operate, co-ordinate measurement machines and/or specialized inspection equipment – preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
  • Ability to keep detailed records using Microsoft software such as Excel & Word.
  • Competent and willing to learn to navigate customer portals and undergo external customer-specific training.
  • Willing to liaise with the customer when required, to support OTD and to deal with issues that may arise.
