The Draftperson possess advanced expertise in AutoCAD and Revit. The primary responsibility of this role is to create detailed technical drawings and 3D models for the project, ensuring precision and adherence to industry standards. Experience in drafting and modelling for architectural, engineering, or construction projects, as well as demonstrating strong collaboration skills to work effectively with both design and engineering teams, is required. Flexibility to support other project needs where required, contributing proactively to the success of the wider team, is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop precise 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Create, modify, and coordinate detailed construction drawings, layouts, and schematics according to design specifications.
- Utilize Revit to review and understand BIM models, with the potential to make minor adjustments.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to interpret project requirements and develop comprehensive plans.
- Ensure consistency in design and compliance with project standards by working closely with team members.
- Review and verify drawings and models for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with client specifications and industry standards.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of drafting standards and procedures.
- Maintain organized records of all drawings and models, ensuring that revisions are properly tracked and documented.
- Prepare detailed documentation and reports as necessary.
- Support document control activities and project information workflows.
Essential criteria
- Right to work in the UK
- Associate degree or certification in Drafting/Modelling, CAD/BIM Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in drafting and modelling, with a focus on using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D drafting and modelling) and Revit (BIM modelling and coordination) is required.
- Knowledge of UK industry standards and best practices for architectural, engineering, or construction drafting.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Capable of managing time effectively and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Experience working on construction sites, with a preference for healthcare projects.
- Be able to design and interpret the designs and technical demands of others.
- Strives for continuous improvement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable criteria
- Knowledge of ISO19650 and use of CDEs in construction projects.
- Knowledge of additional CAD software or BIM tools is an advantage.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes and regulations.
- Experience working in a BIM environment.
- Knowledge of BIM360/ Autodesk Construction Cloud platform (ACC).
- Knowledge of the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
