Drain Layer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Drain Layer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and enjoys working as part of a professional construction and civil infrastructure team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain drainage systems and pipelines.
  • Read and interpret plans, specifications, and site drawings.
  • Excavate trenches and prepare sites for drainage installation.
  • Lay pipes and connect drainage networks to required standards.
  • Conduct testing and inspections to ensure compliance and functionality.
  • Operate and work safely around construction equipment and machinery.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors, contractors, and team members.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Drainlayer or in a similar civil construction role.
  • Relevant drainage qualification or certification preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Strong understanding of drainage systems, pipe laying, and excavation methods.
  • Excellent work ethic and reliability.
  • Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
