Our teams carry out everything from sewer maintenance and network cleansing to CCTV inspections and pollution response, ensuring customers receive a safe, reliable, and resilient service every day.
Purpose of the Role
Due to continued growth and development, we are now looking for customer-focused people to join us in our Utility Division, working on our Thames Water contract service to deliver real and effective solutions to wastewater network and drainage problems.

4 days on 4 days off, 40.25 hours
Salary
£34,000 per annum (made up of basic pay, overtime, on-call allowance, and bonuses)

Key Responsibilities
- Travelling to residential sites via HGV in a two-person team, around the region powering a high-pressure water jet for restoration.
- Clean, clear, and maintain drainage systems.
- Record each job report correctly on the specialist equipment provided.
- Run diagnostics and repairs on drains.
- Delivering good customer service.
- Maintaining good H&S practice while carrying out works.
- Ensure vehicle stock is full and replenished.
- To comply with health and safety responsibilities, i.e., PPE / safe site setups protecting Lanes Group employees, the public, and other road users.
- To be able to utilize VISTEC and Salesforce platforms.
- Liaising with the client regarding progress and any updates.
- Ability to work unsupervised in all weather conditions utilizing correct PPE, lone worker system, etc.
- Dynamically risk assess site access & working conditions depending on specific circumstances on arrival.
- Provide support to your colleagues.
- To conduct thorough inspections of tools, equipment, and plant before/after use.
- Report any defects or malfunctions in regards to training.
- Carry out risk assessments and have a mature approach to risk perception.
- Be aware of all Lanes Group policies and your responsibility towards them.
- Any other reasonable ad-hoc duties requested by management.
- Please note: full training will be provided.
