At Clear Rod we are a Kent based non:franchise, family run business who have years of experience in providing comprehensive drainage solutions to satisfied customers. We can help customers in both the commercial and domestic sector with any of their drainage issues 24/7 365 days a year.
About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Drainage Engineer / Reactive Plumber to join our team.
The primary role will be drainage engineering, alongside reactive plumbing works. The successful candidate should have around 10 years industry experience and be confident working independently, diagnosing faults and completing repairs to a high standard.
We are open to candidates looking for either an employed or self:employed position. The most suitable arrangement, along with pay and the overall package, will be discussed during the interview process.

The Role Will Include
- Reactive drainage call:outs and fault finding
- Clearing blocked drains, waste pipes, sinks and toilets
- Drainage investigations/CCTV and repairs
- Reactive plumbing repairs and maintenance
- Leak detection and pipework repairs
- Working within blocks of flats and communal properties
- Experience working with older systems and lead pipework
- Dealing professionally with residents
- Completing jobs efficiently and reporting on works carried out

Requirements
- Approximately 10 years drainage/plumbing experience
- Strong drainage experience essential
- Reactive plumbing experience
- Experience with blocks of flats and older/lead pipework
- Good fault:finding and problem:solving skills
- Professional approach with customers and residents
- Full UK driving licence
