Tasks
We are currently taking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from high-performing drainage gangs and qualified civil engineering operatives to support upcoming civil and deep drainage packages around the Suffolk region.
Required Roles & Gang Capabilities
We are accepting applications for complete gangs or individual trade specialists across the following disciplines:
- Black Hat / Site Supervisor (SSSTS / SMSTS, extensive civil/drainage delivery experience)
- Blue Hat / Chargehand (Working foreman, experienced leading drainage ops)
- Top Man (Confined space certified, deep drainage experience)
- Pipe Layers (Deep drainage, pre-cast concrete, carrier drains, attenuation tanks)
- Banksman / Slinger Signaller (CPCS / NPORS)
- Telescopic Handler / Forklift Drivers (CPCS / NPORS)
- Dumper Drivers (CPCS / NPORS)
- Excavator Operators (360° above & below 10t, GPS machine control experience preferred)
- Formwork Carpenters (Shuttering, headwalls, manhole construction)
- Steel Fixers & Concrete Finishers (Base slabs, concrete surrounds, structural pours)

Qualifications

- CSCS / CPCS / NPORS cards relevant to your trade.
- Proven Experience: Demonstrable track record on major UK civil engineering, heavy highway, or infrastructure projects.
- Safety Certifications: Confined Space (High/Medium Risk), NRSWA, or CAT & Genny certificates (where applicable).
- Vetting & Security: Ability to pass standard nuclear security clearances (BPSS) and mandatory pre-employment drug & alcohol screening.
- Safety Mindset: Uncompromising commitment to health, safety, and nuclear site standards.
