The team works closely with clients and insurers to deliver compliant repairs, advice, and support. Clearway is also a fully licensed carrier for a wide variety of liquid waste, offering safe, clean, and timely removal and disposal for business customers.

Role Description

The Drainage Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Stockton-On-Tees. This role oversees day-to-day drainage operations, including planning and coordinating teams, scheduling works, and ensuring services such as CCTV surveys, UV relining, Jet Vac tanker operations, and liquid waste removal are completed safely and efficiently. The Drainage Operations Manager monitors job progress, manages resources and equipment, and ensures compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Responsibilities include supervising staff performance, supporting training and development, liaising with clients and insurers, and resolving operational issues promptly. The role also involves reviewing operational data, contributing to process improvements, and supporting the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction and quality workmanship.

  • Experience in drainage operations or related environmental services, including overseeing field teams and coordinating on-site works.
  • Knowledge of CCTV drainage surveys, UV drain relining, Jet Vac tanker operations, and liquid waste handling and disposal.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple jobs, schedules, and resources effectively.
  • Competence in health, safety, and environmental compliance, including risk assessments and safe systems of work.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with colleagues, clients, insurers, and external partners.
  • Ability to use basic IT systems for job management, reporting, and record-keeping.
  • Proven leadership abilities, including staff supervision, performance management, and supporting training and development.
  • Relevant industry qualifications or certifications (e.g., drainage, environmental services, health and safety) are advantageous.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to work on-site across different locations as required.
