Location: Hillington, Glasgow

Employment type: Full Time, Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, with overtime opportunities available

About The Role…

Working as a skilled Drainage Patching Technician to assist in delivering high-quality drainage patching and lining solutions to valued clients across both regulatory and non-regulatory environments. Supporting the delivery of drainage patching works within established frameworks.

Assisting the Drainage Patching Engineer with daily site activities, equipment preparation, and the safe and efficient completion of drainage patching works. Working collaboratively as part of a team to ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations, company procedures, and client requirements. Supporting the operation and maintenance of specialist drainage patching equipment and ensuring all tools and materials are ready for use. Helping to ensure all works are completed to the required quality standards and within agreed timescales, while maintaining a safe and organised working environment.

As a Drainage Patching Team Leader, you will…

  • To carry out Patching works completed on site.
  • To support so that all Ipsum site and reporting process’ are adhered to fully
  • To be a role model for your team, passing on experience to further the development and skill set of operatives
  • Work towards the compliance of site staff with respect to Health and Safety, Quality and Environment
  • Ensure Company policies are always adhered to.
  • Ensure all site related incidents are reported.
  • Identify and react swiftly to resolve problems before they escalate.
  • Support the Team leader for all Patching work completed on site.
  • Support the Team leader for producing high quality results, reports and feedback.
  • Always establish good relationships and communication and resolve issues and early resolution of any potential problems.

About You…

  • Previous experience and/or qualifications within the Utilities and/or Drainage Industry
  • Full Clean Driving Licence
  • Patching City and Guilds
  • EUSR - Patching and Lining
  • Experience of leading a patching team
  • NRSWA Streetworks
  • Confined space level 2 and above
