Drainage Repair Engineer
Location: Ruislip covering London & the Home Counties
Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm

We're recruiting experienced Drainage Repair Engineers to join an established and growing drainage company based in Ruislip, covering London and the Home Counties.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled engineer who wants good hours, a competitive salary, no on-call rota, and the opportunity to take ownership of their own work.
You'll work as part of a professional two-person drainage repair team, carrying out a variety of reactive and planned works for housing associations, local authorities, property management companies, insurers, domestic customers, and commercial clients.
What you'll be doing
This is a genuinely hands-on engineering role, including:
- Drainage repairs and excavation works
- Pipe replacement and reinstatement
- Drain lining and patch lining
- High-pressure water jetting
- CCTV drainage surveys
- Reactive and planned drainage maintenance
- Diagnosing problems and finding practical solutions
- Delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service

You'll be given responsibility for your own company van and day-to-day workload. When you first join, you'll work alongside experienced engineers while you become familiar with the company's procedures, standards, and way of working.
What we're looking for
We're looking for an experienced drainage professional who can work confidently on their own initiative while also being a strong team player.
Essential experience
- Proven experience in drainage repair engineering
- Groundworks and excavation experience
- Pipe replacement and reinstatement
- Drain lining and patch lining
- High-pressure water jetting
- CCTV drainage surveys
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Commitment to health & safety and quality
- Full UK driving licence
- Reliable, hardworking, and professional approach
