Drainage Supervisor
Location: Congleton, Cheshire
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
Ringway Jacobs has an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor to join the Drainage team in Cheshire East.
Reporting to the Drainage Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering end-to-end highway drainage works across both revenue and capital programmes, including reactive, emergency, and planned maintenance activities.
The Role
- Carry out supervision of both self-delivery and SCP gangs to ensure that works are carried out safely and to the highest standard.
- Ensure programmes are delivered to key milestones across the contract.
- Monitor delivery to ensure work is carried out in accordance with Ringway Jacobs, specifications, and procedures.
- Ability to self-manage priorities and workload using agile/mobile working across the Cheshire East.
- Communicate daily with the maintenance support team.
About You
- Good knowledge and application of design procedures, guidance, and standards, and good practice documents
- Good knowledge of Construction, Design, and Management regulations and application of Health and Safety legislation
- Good knowledge of and application of Highway Legislation
- Previous experience of working with Highways Drainage is desirable but not essential
- NRSWA – Supervisor (New Road and Street Works Act) Qualification
