The company delivers a complete range of drainage services, including CCTV inspections, industrial standard surveys, jetting, and patch lining repairs. Its Groundworks Division manages all aspects of groundwork services to help premises operate efficiently and safely. The team also identifies underground issues and implements preventative measures to provide long-term, reliable results for clients.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Drainage Worker role based in Northampton. The role involves carrying out drainage works such as jetting, patch lining, CCTV inspections, and basic repairs on commercial and industrial sites.

Responsibilities

- Assisting with groundworks, excavations, and reinstatement
- Setting up equipment
- Maintaining tools and vehicles
- Following site safety procedures
- Working as part of a field team
- Responding to job schedules
- Completing basic job reports
- Supporting senior operatives and supervisors with day-to-day tasks
The position may involve working in varied weather conditions, occasional out-of-hours work, and travel to sites within the East Midlands and wider areas.
Qualifications
- Experience or training in drainage works, groundworks, or construction site operations
- Knowledge of basic drainage systems, CCTV survey equipment, jetting units, and patch lining processes
- Strong awareness of health and safety practices, including safe excavation, confined space considerations, and use of PPE
- Ability to work effectively in a team, follow instructions, and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors
- Good physical fitness and willingness to perform manual labor in outdoor and potentially challenging environments
- Basic record-keeping skills for job sheets, surveys, and site reports; attention to detail in completing documentation
- Full UK driving license (or equivalent) preferred; ability to travel to multiple sites as required
- Previous experience in commercial drainage or groundworks is beneficial but not essential; relevant vocational qualifications (e.g., CSCS card, health and safety training) are an advantage.
