The Job holder is responsible for producing machining/fabrication and assembly drawings along with associated documents.
They assist with a variety of duties including but not limited to – updating existing drawings/files, producing schematic/layouts, contributing to technical manuals and compiling design control documentation.
The job holder is expected to work on a range of equipment ranging from fabricated skid based hydraulic units / transport frames to pressure control / downhole tools.
The job holder is expected to complete their assigned tasks/responsibilities accurately within a planned timescale to meet specific deadlines.

Attention to detail and a systematic approach to design file and drawing control are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Producing detailed design drawing, using Autodesk inventor/Autocad
- Revising designs, following change management procedures
- Drawing and documentation control in line with Hunting and industry body process
- Producing specification sheets
- Creating technical manuals
- Providing cover and support to the department as and when needed
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Essential:
- HNC (or similar) in a Mechanical Engineering discipline
- Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD software – ideally Autodesk
- Drafting experience within a manufacturing environment
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English
- Full Driving Licence

Desirable:
- Experience of DNV / API standards
- Knowledge and experience of an ERP system, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365

- Highly professional conduct
- Must be willing to travel and able to spend time away from home
- Strong team working skills and a high level of autonomy
- Attention to detail
