Draughtsperson (Glass, Steel & Aluminium)

£40,000 - £45,000 + Hybrid + Progression + Training + Company benefits

Are you a Draughtsperson with a background working with manufacturing companies looking for a role working for a leading aluminium and steel architectural glazing company who will support your long-term career through progression opportunities and train you on their bespoke products?

Do you want to join a company which specialise in supplying architectural glazing systems for the construction industry. This company fabricate in both steel and aluminium which means you will play an integral part in creating fabrication drawings for bespoke manufacture.

This is an opportunity to join a busy engineering office where you will get involved in all areas of design work, detailing, and technical calculations for specialist manufacture using AutoCAD based on the requirements on clients in the construction industry. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business which will invest in your long-term development through progression opportunities such as a pipeline to Design Manager.

The Job

  • Creating drawings using AutoCAD
  • Working on Aluminium Windows and Doors and Architectural Glazing
  • Amending Technical drawings based on fabrication requirements
  • Monday-Friday with flexible start finish times and an early finish Friday
