Role Description
The Driller role is an on-site position based in the United Kingdom. The Driller will operate and maintain drilling rigs and associated equipment for water boreholes, geothermal installations, and subsurface engineering projects.

- Setting up drilling sites
- Monitoring drilling operations for safety and quality
- Collecting and logging subsurface data
- Coordinating with project managers and engineers to meet technical specifications
The role also involves:
- Adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards
- Troubleshooting equipment issues
- Completing accurate documentation and reports for each project
Qualifications
- Experience operating drilling rigs and related equipment in water, geothermal, or geotechnical applications.
- Strong understanding of drilling methods, borehole construction, and basic subsurface geology.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to drilling and construction sites.
- Ability to read and follow technical plans, site drawings, and method statements.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to respond effectively to changing site conditions.
- Physical capability to work outdoors in varying weather, handle manual tasks, and use tools and machinery safely.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with site teams, contractors, and clients.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel to different project sites across the United Kingdom.
- Prior experience in drilling, construction, or subsurface engineering; relevant vocational training or certifications are an advantage.
- Commitment to safe work practices, quality standards, and continuous learning on new drilling technologies.
