Team members contribute to delivering dependable inspection, testing, and verification services that help clients minimize risk and optimize operations.

Role Description

The Drilling Equipment QAQC Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in USA. This position is responsible for witnessing and reporting ongoing inspections, testing, and verifying drilling equipment and related systems to ensure compliance with company standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.

  • Conducting equipment audits
  • Reviewing technical documentation
  • Monitoring performance data
  • Identifying non-conformities or potential failures

The specialist collaborates with drilling, fluids, and completion teams to recommend corrective actions, support equipment commissioning, and prepare clear QAQC reports. The role also involves maintaining detailed records, participating in safety and quality meetings.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of drilling operations and drilling equipment, including practical experience with hands-on inspection.
  • Experience in QAQC processes, equipment inspection, and fault identification within oil and gas or drilling environments. Specifically DS-1 and API specifications relating to drilling equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail, documentation skills, and the ability to produce clear, structured QAQC reports.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively on-site with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Relevant technical qualification or degree in engineering, petroleum, or a related field; professional certifications or experience in QAQC or inspection are an advantage.
  • Commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in equipment performance and reliability.
