We are looking for an experienced Drive Test Engineer to support wireless network testing and data collection activities in Goonhilly, UK. Contract: 3 months, with possibility of extension
What You Will Be Doing
- Conduct 4G LTE and 5G NR drive testing and RF data collection.
- Configure and operate test phones, scanners, and drive-test equipment.
- Perform field testing to evaluate network coverage, performance, and connectivity.
- Monitor drive-test logs in real time and ensure data quality and completeness.
- Analyze key RF and network performance indicators including RSRP, RSRQ, SINR, throughput, drops, and handovers.
- Troubleshoot issues identified during testing and support network performance investigations.
- Perform post-processing and analysis of drive-test data.
- Prepare test reports and document findings for engineering and optimization teams.
- Support additional field testing and network validation activities as required.

Required Skills & Experience
- Hands-on experience with 4G LTE and/or 5G NR drive testing.
- Experience using TEMS for drive testing is highly preferred.
- Experience with XCAL/XCAP or similar RF testing and analysis tools.
- Experience working with scanners, test phones, GPS equipment, and drive-test kits.
- Strong understanding of RF KPIs including RSRP, RSRQ, SINR, PCI, throughput, drops, and handovers.
- Experience with drive-test log collection, validation, post-processing, and reporting.
- Ability to work independently in a field-testing environment.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel as required.
