The Role
We’re currently looking for a dependable 18-tonne HGV Driver to join our successful team in Northampton. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, thrives in a customer-facing role, and takes pride in providing excellent service.

As a driver, you’ll be a key member of our team—representing JDP at every delivery point and ensuring customers receive our civils and drainage products safely and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the vehicle safely, responsibly, and efficiently, adhering to all driver and vehicle legislation
- Ensure accurate and timely deliveries across Northampton and surrounding areas
- Follow all driver and vehicle regulations, including Driver CPC, tacho card, and driving hours rules
- Professionally represent JDP at each delivery, delivering exceptional customer service

Requirements
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Hardworking, helpful, and keen to train across all operational aspects
- Driver CPC training (some existing knowledge or willingness to train)
- Digital driving licence (tacho card)
- Good understanding of Health & Safety in a work environment
- Strong grasp of driver procedures, including hours rules and regulations
- Ability to plan the most efficient route for daily deliveries
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- (Preferable) Fork Lift Truck experience
