Job Description
We are currently looking to appoint an experienced 18T HGV Driver with HIAB to join our successful team in Broxburn. If you are a hardworking, flexible individual who enjoys being part of a team, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Please note: Due to continued growth, our Broxburn branch will be relocating to Uphall in the near future.
The Role
As one of our drivers, you will be customer-facing and responsible for delivering civils and drainage products to customers throughout Broxburn and the surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Safe and efficient operation of an 18T vehicle
- Completing deliveries accurately and on time
- Ensuring compliance with all driver and vehicle legislation
- Representing JDP professionally at each delivery point
- Providing excellent customer service and maintaining JDP’s strong reputation

Candidate Profile
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
- A positive, supportive attitude and willingness to learn all aspects of the operation
- A valid Class C licence
- HIAB certification or experience
- Driver CPC training completed
- A digital tachograph card
- Good knowledge of workplace Health & Safety practices
- A strong understanding of driver procedures, including driving hours rules and regulations
- The ability to plan efficient delivery routes
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Profile
Must hold Class C licence.
Desirable:
- Having FLT experience would be beneficial.
