The Role
This vacancy is at our Revivalist division where our focus is on furniture and upholstery packages. This includes chairs, stools, fixed seating, cushions and much more!
Our dedicated and talented team are seeking an experienced Driver and Installer to join the team at our Doncaster Head Office.
Working closely with colleagues and clients, you'll be responsible for packing, delivering and assembling our bespoke furniture at our client’s premises. Due to our furniture coming in all shapes and sizes, we are looking for someone who is methodical and conscientious and can load items safely to prevent any damages occurring at any stage of the delivery.
No two days are the same, so you'll need to be organised, adaptable and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who is a keen team player, has good attention to detail and cares about leaving a great lasting impression!
What You'll Be Responsible For:
Deliveries and Logistics
- Collect and deliver furniture items using job sheets to verify correct quantities.
- Follow pre-planned delivery routes accurately which could be project specific or multidrop routes using a 3.5 tonne vehicle
- Deliver contract items e.g. bars, screens etc
- Unload materials and incoming deliveries from goods-in.

Handling and Preparation
- Wrap furniture to prevent damage and load items safely.
- Pick stock for projects using job sheets.
- Assist with lifting and moving heavy items
Installation and Customer Service
- Unpack furniture and inspect for any damage.
- Assemble and install furniture in room of choice (including upstairs)
- Set out furniture for customers based on job sheets and layouts.
Safety and Maintenance
- Follow all health and safety procedures and wear protective clothing.
- Check and maintain the vehicle (tyres, oil, water, and general upkeep).
- Complete other duties as required.
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience of working with hand tools
- Willingness to travel to sites across the UK
- Flexibility around early starts and late finishes (based on location of project)
- Sound geographical knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- A positive approach including a can do attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to perform manual handling and lifting heavy objects safely
Desirable
- CSCS card
- Awareness or Manual handling qualifications
- Licence to drive 7.5 tonne vehicle
- Previous experience of assembling and installing furniture in a hospitality or commercial setting
