About the Role
Safely transport students to and from designated collection points, adhering to agreed timetables for morning and evening routes.
Ensure the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of all passengers at all times.
Conduct routine daily and weekly vehicle inspections, reporting any issues and carrying out basic maintenance as required.
Maintain vehicles to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness, both internally and externally.
Promptly report vehicle defects, faults, incidents, and accidents to the appropriate transport or maintenance personnel.
Refuel vehicles as required and ensure they are ready for operational use.
Act as a positive ambassador for the organisation, maintaining a professional image and excellent standards of conduct while operating branded vehicles.
About You
- Hold a full, clean driving licence with D1 and PCV entitlement.
- Possess a valid Driver CPC card (training can be provided if required).
- Demonstrate a good understanding of safeguarding and its importance within an educational environment.
- Have experience in a similar driving or passenger transport role.
- Be committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and passenger welfare.
- Have excellent reliability, punctuality, and time management skills.
- Display a professional and approachable manner when interacting with students, colleagues, and members of the public.
