HGV Class 1 Driver – 4 On / 4 Off – Newport

Runtech is expanding its transport operation in Newport and is looking for experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our team on a permanent 4 on / 4 off rota.
This is regular, predictable work based from Newport, with home time every shift. For drivers who want additional flexibility, optional nights out may also be available.
Pay & shift pattern
- £15.00 per hour flat rate
- 52 paid hours per 4-day working block
- £780 gross per 4-day block
- Equivalent to approximately £682.50 gross per week averaged across the rota
- 4 days on / 4 days off
- Typically 13-hour paid shifts
- Home every shift as standard
- Optional nights out available if desired

The role
The work will primarily involve HGV Class 1 and regional transport from a Newport base, including regular repeat routes.
The operation is designed around consistent work, modern vehicles, and a predictable rota, giving you four days off after every four-day working block.
What we’re looking for
You’ll need a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card. We’re looking for professional, reliable, and safety-focused drivers with a positive attitude and good work ethic.
