Driver Category C – Warrington

Monday to Friday | 45 hours per week | Operating hours 06:00–17:00

We’re looking for a professional Category C (Class 2) Powered Access Driver to join our Warrington team, delivering and collecting powered access equipment including scissor lifts, boom lifts and other MEWPs.

The role

You’ll be out on the road representing Speedy and making sure our equipment reaches our customers safely, efficiently and on time.

Your Day Will Include

  • Loading, securing, transporting and unloading powered access equipment
  • Operating a rigid vehicle with a plant body and/or beavertail
  • Completing daily vehicle and equipment safety checks
  • Delivering and collecting equipment from customer sites
  • Completing delivery paperwork and digital records
  • Working closely with our transport and hire desk teams
  • Providing a great service to our customers
  • Following all road traffic, transport and health & safety requirements

What You’ll Need

  • Full UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence
  • Valid Driver CPC
  • Digital tachograph card
  • No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
  • Experience driving commercially within the UK
  • Good knowledge of Warrington and the surrounding area
  • A strong approach to safety and customer service
  • Powered access, plant or beavertail experience would be a bonus
