Driver Category C – Warrington
Monday to Friday | 06:00–15:00 | 45 hours per week
Speedy are the UK’s leading hire provider, with the widest range of tools, specialist hire equipment, plant and support services – everything for every job!
We’re looking for a professional Category C (Class 2) Powered Access Driver to join our Warrington team, delivering and collecting powered access equipment including scissor lifts, boom lifts and other MEWPs to and from customer sites.
The role
Responsibilities
As one of our drivers, you’ll be the face of Speedy on the road and with our customers. You’ll be responsible for:
- Safely loading, securing, transporting and unloading powered access equipment
- Driving a rigid vehicle with a plant body and/or beavertail
- Carrying out vehicle and equipment safety checks
- Delivering and collecting equipment safely and on time
- Completing delivery paperwork and digital records accurately
- Working closely with our transport and hire desk teams
- Providing excellent customer service
- Following all road traffic and health & safety requirements

What You’ll Need
- Full UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence
- Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
- Experience driving commercially within the UK
- Good knowledge of the local area
- A strong focus on safety and customer service
- A positive, reliable and self-motivated approach
- Powered access, plant or beavertail experience would be an advantage
