About the Opportunity

As an HGV Driver at EMR, you’ll:
- Deliver low-carbon, recycled materials to manufacturers, shaping the future of tomorrow’s products.
- Keep operations running and customers satisfied with timely, personable delivery.
We cover the UK from coast to coast, but we don’t require long-distance travel every day. Whether exploring by day or unwinding by night, we support a balanced life.

What You’ll Do
Without our drivers, we wouldn’t move forward—and our sustainability purpose would slow. Our expectations?
You’ll ensure:
- Timely, high-quality service for our customers.
- A maintained fleet and infrastructure safety standards.
- Customer satisfaction through consistent, professional delivery.
- Continuity in our day-to-day and long-term sustainability goals.
This will mean operating heavy hooklift and skiploader vehicles—a skill we’ll develop as part of your training. We won’t just teach you the job; we’ll prioritise your growth long-term, ensuring no limit on career progression in a global leader of sustainable materials.
About You
We value potential above experience—but there are things we can’t train for. We need drivers with:
- Enthusiasm for the work
- Strong teamwork skills
- Clear and effective communication
- A hands-on, getting-things-done attitude
All you need to start is a valid Category C (Class 2) licence. If you tick these boxes, you have what it takes.
We’ll train you on: ✔ Vehicles (hooplift and skiploader) ✔ Safety practices ✔ Efficiency and customer care
