Description
Are you an experienced Class 5 Driver looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused professional to join our Christchurch team and support the delivery of key construction and infrastructure projects across the region.
About The Role
As a Class 5 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials, plant, and equipment to and from project sites. You will play a vital role in supporting construction operations while ensuring compliance with all safety and transport requirements.
This role may require occasional Saturday work and night shifts to support operational and project requirements, so flexibility is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 5 vehicles in accordance with road transport regulations
- Transport materials, aggregates, equipment, and machinery to project sites
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Accurately complete logbooks and transport documentation
- Assist with loading and unloading where required
- Maintain a high standard of health, safety, and environmental compliance
- Work closely with site teams and supervisors to meet project requirements

What You'll Bring
- Full Class 5 Driver Licence (essential)
- Proven experience operating Class 4/5 trucks
- Strong understanding of transport and safety regulations
- Excellent driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
- Flexibility to work occasional Saturday and night shifts when required
- Civil construction experience is advantageous
