Role Description

The Driver role at Viplondontour is a part-time, on-site position based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Driver will transport customers safely and punctually to scheduled destinations, including tour routes, hotels, airports, and local attractions.

  • Following assigned routes and timetables
  • Assisting passengers with boarding and luggage
  • Providing clear, courteous information to travelers

The role also involves:

  • Performing basic vehicle checks
  • Reporting maintenance concerns
  • Completing trip logs
  • Adhering to all road safety and company compliance requirements

Drivers are expected to maintain a professional appearance, represent the company positively, and deliver a friendly, customer-focused experience.

Qualifications

  • Strong vehicle operation skills, including Truck Driving and safe handling of trucks in urban and regional environments.
  • Valid CDL Class A or equivalent professional driving license, with a clean driving record and familiarity with local road regulations.
  • Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with passengers, colleagues, and partners.
  • Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and attention to safety, including adherence to traffic laws and company policies.
  • Ability to read and follow routes, schedules, and navigation tools, with good knowledge of the London Area or willingness to learn.
  • Basic vehicle inspection and troubleshooting capabilities to identify and report potential mechanical issues promptly.
  • Flexibility to work varied part-time shifts, including weekends or holidays, as needed by business demand.
  • Previous experience in tourism, transport, or hospitality is beneficial but not required; commitment to high-quality customer experiences is essential.
