Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Driver Labourer role based in Bradford. The Driver Labourer is responsible for safely transporting materials, tools, and equipment to and from construction sites, ensuring timely deliveries and secure loading/unloading. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with general site labor, such as moving materials, setting up work areas, and helping maintain a clean and organized site environment. The role also involves following health and safety procedures, performing basic vehicle checks, and communicating effectively with supervisors and site teams to support project needs. Flexibility to respond to changing site requirements and willingness to perform manual handling tasks are essential.

  • CSCS card is a must
  • Valid driver’s license suitable for the vehicle type used, with a strong record of safe and responsible driving.
  • Experience in general construction labor or site support, including manual handling and basic use of hand tools.
  • Awareness of health and safety practices on construction sites and ability to follow safety instructions and procedures.
  • Good communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team and with site supervisors.
  • Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Basic organizational skills for managing loads, routes, and schedules; experience with simple delivery or job documentation is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in construction transport or laboring roles in the UK is beneficial but not mandatory.
