Job Title: Driver

Location: Ridgewood, NY

Pay Rate: $21.00-$22.00 per hour

Employment Type: Part-time

Availability: Must have open availability including weekends

Responsibilities:

  • The Driver is responsible for the safe and reliable operation of assigned service units while supporting daily project activities.
  • Safely drive and transport assigned mobile units to designated locations.
  • Conduct basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Ensure the unit is clean, secure, and ready for daily operations.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing supplies as needed.
  • Follow assigned schedules, routes, and project instructions.
  • Report vehicle issues, incidents, delays, or safety concerns promptly.
  • Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and organizational policies.
  • Provide professional and respectful service when interacting with staff, partners, and community members.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license with at least 2 years of driving experience and a clean driving record.
  • Safe and responsible driving skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional.
  • Ability to follow schedules, routes, and safety procedures.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to assist with loading and unloading supplies.
  • Flexibility to work at different locations and schedules based on project needs.
  • Must meet any required background check, driving record check, training, or certification requirements.
