Driver/Receptionist for Urgent Treatment Centre

Contract: Permanent
Hours: Part-time
Location: Morecambe Health Centre, Hanover Street, Morecambe, Lancashire, LA4 5LY
Salary: Standard rate is £13.00 p/h. However, enhancements payable would be an additional 30% on Saturday up to midnight, and +60% on Sunday.

Main duties of the role

As a Driver Receptionist, you will provide a professional and reliable driving service to support the GP Out of Hours service while delivering a high-quality reception experience for patients and visitors. You will use patient record systems, complete routine administrative tasks and maintain strict confidentiality at all times.

The role requires adherence to established procedures and protocols, supporting the effective operation of the service through stock management, including medical equipment and medication supplies, as well as carrying out routine vehicle checks and reporting any issues promptly.

You will work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility to meet changing service needs, particularly during overnight shifts. The successful candidate will be committed to ongoing training and development and will contribute to maintaining a safe, efficient and patient-focused service.
