Location & Working Details

Store: Dulux Decorator Centre Location: Twickenham, TW13 6DB

Salary: £13.89 per hour Bonus: Sales-based Hours: 30 hours per week + up to 10 hours overtime (subject to business needs) Availability: Shifts between 7 am – 5 pm (Mon-Fri) + occasional Saturday mornings (8 am – 12 pm)

Job Purpose

As a Driver/Sales Assistant, you’ll:

  • Drive store success by collaborating with colleagues and our UK Sales Team to deliver exceptional service.
  • Use your people skills to maximise sales of AkzoNobel products/accessories.
  • Handle customer deliveries to homes and businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend engagement planning sessions and monthly store meetings.
  • Ensure customers receive:
    • A warm welcome
    • Personalised consultations
    • Informed proposals using client service tools.
  • Support the store’s monthly customer contact programme.
  • Redeem shelf stock via the merchandising plan.
  • Van loading and route planning for efficient deliveries.
  • Explore training materials to sharpen skillsets and encourage colleagues.

Job Requirements

  • Proven customer service/retail experience.
  • A full, valid driving licence.
  • A preference for collaborative teamwork.
  • Composure under pressure.
