Drive Safety. Develop People. Make a Difference.

Are you an experienced Driver Trainer with a passion for road safety, coaching others, and developing high-performing teams?

Join LF&E, one of the UK's leading healthcare logistics providers. Since 2008, we've been delivering critical medications to patients, pharmacies, hospitals, and healthcare providers across the UK. With 23 sites nationwide and over 300 employees, we play a vital role in ensuring patients receive essential treatments safely, accurately, and on time.

Originally a small family-run business, LF&E has grown into a national leader in specialist Pharmaceutical Delivery services.

As our Driver Trainer, you'll take responsibility for delivering driver induction programmes, assessments, refresher training, and compliance monitoring across the business. You'll work closely with our Fleet, HR, and Operations teams to ensure all drivers meet the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and legal compliance.

The role will also develop into supporting wider compliance, operational, and process training throughout the business.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and grow LF&E's training function while making a real impact on employee safety, fleet performance, and patient service delivery.

Role Details:

  • Based in Swadlincote
  • Regular travel to LF&E sites across the UK
  • Frequent on-road driving assessments
  • Flexibility to accommodate early starts, later finishes, and occasional weekend work
  • Occasional overnight stays may be required

Key Responsibilities:

Driver Induction & Assessment

  • Deliver driver induction training to all new starters who drive company or lease vehicles
  • Conduct on-road driving assessments before drivers are authorised to drive independently
  • Verify driving licences, entitlements, and endorsements
  • Identify training needs and risk factors during assessments
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of training materials and programmes
  • Provide constructive coaching and feedback to improve driving standards

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
