Casual Drivers
We are looking for caring and reliable Casual Drivers to support our Transport Team, helping vulnerable children and adults travel safely to schools, care centres and other essential services, on a zero hour contract.
What You Will Do
- Safely transport vulnerable children and adults.
- Work alongside a Passenger Assistant to support passengers during their journey.
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks.
- Follow safeguarding and transport procedures.
- Provide a professional, patient and friendly service.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, families and colleagues.
What We Are Looking For
- A safe and responsible driver with good communication skills.
- A caring and respectful approach to working with vulnerable people.
- Reliable, flexible and able to work at short notice.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to undertake all required training.

Essential Requirements
- Valid D1 driving licence.
- Good spoken English.
- Enhanced DBS check required.
About The Role
This is a casual zero hours position with no guaranteed hours.
Work is offered on an as and when required basis to cover staff absence, annual leave and increased service demand. Applicants should be available to work during morning and afternoon periods and be able to attend the Barkers Lane depot within 15 minutes when contacted for cover.
