Salary
- Passenger Assistant (CBG3): £25,185 per annum pro rata or £13.06 per hour
- Driver (CBG4): £25,583 per annum pro rata or £13.27 per hour
Hours & Contract
- Various hours available:
- Relief contracts (0 hours – required by service demand)
- Part-time (up to 25 hours per week), full-year
- TTO (Temporary Temporary Operator) staff also considered
- Contract Type: Relief / Permanent – fixed

About the Role
Our Fleet Transport department is hiring Drivers and Passenger Assistants to join our dedicated team.
- We offer various contract types, including relief roles (covering shift shortages due to holidays, sickness, etc.).
- Regular hours available; Reliance staff may work up to 25 hours per week (not guaranteed in relief contracts).
- No experience required.
- Full training provided, along with:
- Uniform supply
- Equipment allowances
The Fleet Transport team delivers safe, efficient transport to residents including:
- Older people
- Those with disabilities
- Children with special needs

As a Driver or Passenger Assistant, your role includes:
- Transporting clients and pupils
- Operating council-owned minibuses
- Using tail-lift-equipped vehicles
- Travelling to various day centres, schools, and other establishments
Eligibility & Key Criteria
Note: No prior experience needed to apply.
For Driver Role Only
- Valid (pre-5th September 2010) Category D1 driving license required.
