Please note these roles involve the heavy manual handling of kegs of alcoholic beverages Previous dray delivery experience is an advantage


WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

  • Accompany a driver to delivery points where you will assist with unloading deliveries to customers' homes
  • Maintain regular contact with the Transport Team and advise of all problems which may prevent the job being completed on time and without incident
  • Liaise with customers to confirm delivery times and complete relevant processes on an electronic handheld device

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

  • High levels of manual handling are required so you need to be physically fit
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload
  • Ability to read, understand and follow directions and instructions
  • Connect easily to M6, M42, A4091, local to B46 1TT
  • Previous practical experience as a Driver's Mate, within a logistics or similar environment would be preferable
  • Have your own transport to be able to start your shift between 04:00-09:00
