KEA Belfast Driver's Mates Recruitment

KEA Belfast are looking to welcome Driver's Mates to the team.

We deliver all of our products ranging from LACK Coffee Tables to PAX Wardrobes you will be required to handle a range of furniture items and must be comfortable with extensive manual handling.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • The Start Date of employment will be start of October 2026
  • This role offers £13.45 per hour.
  • 39 Hours per week, 4 days out of 7 working 10.5-hour shifts of 7am-5pm and 1 shift of 9am-7pm, 2 out of 3 weekends.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

  • Be 18 or older.
  • Be comfortable with extensive manual handling.
  • You aim to deliver the best possible experience, are prepared to step up and problem solve when things aren’t right.
  • You are someone who takes Health & Safety seriously and are comfortable risk assessing your environment.
  • You are attentive to details especially when it comes to performing checks on your vehicle.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

  • You will support the Driver to complete vehicle safety checks and take appropriate action.
  • You will assist in loading goods into the vehicle in a safe and organized manner ensuring the delivery route matches the goods for maximum efficiency.
  • You will deliver goods to customer’s homes and take them into a nominated room, carrying out risk assessments on location to prevent injury and damage to property.
  • You will communicate with the customer both in person and over the phone to provide a positive customer service experience.
