Absolute Recruitment is looking for a reliable and hardworking Drivers Mate to join our client’s delivery team.
You will support the driver with the safe and efficient delivery of goods to customers. This is a hands-on role involving regular lifting and unloading, so candidates must be comfortable with physical work.
Working hours Monday – Friday 8am – 17:00pm
Key responsibilities
- Assisting the driver with daily deliveries
- Loading and unloading goods safely
- Helping to plan and follow delivery routes
- Providing friendly, professional customer service
- Checking delivery paperwork and goods
- Keeping the vehicle and working areas tidy

Requirements
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Own transport is essential due to the company’s location
- Previous delivery or warehouse experience is helpful but not essential
