Join Our Growing Team at Jarvie Plant!
Are you a reliable and proactive team player who takes pride in delivering excellent service? We’re looking for a dedicated Driver/Valeter to join our busy rentals team at our Edinburgh Depot. In this hands-on role, you’ll ensure our vehicles are professionally presented, safely delivered, and ready for customer use, playing a key part in our commitment to dependable hire solutions.
How This Role Supports Our Hire Solutions
Your efforts keep our fleet in top condition and ready when customers need it. By ensuring vehicles are clean, safe, and delivered on time, you directly support the efficiency and reliability JP Rentals is known for.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely delivering and collecting rental vehicles from customer locations
- Cleaning vehicles inside and out to a high standard
- Carrying out off-hire inspections and recording any damage
- Checking service certificates and updating service stickers
- Refuelling and performing routine safety checks (oil, tyres, screen wash, etc.)
- Test driving vehicles to ensure they're in good working condition
- Supporting with general site and yard maintenance
- Check tyres for damage and carry out repairs or replacements where necessary

What Will Make You a Great Fit

- A full UK driving licence (Essential)
- Experience in a driving or rental environment (Desirable)
- Ability to clean and maintain vehicles to a high standard
