What’s it like to be a BSS Driver / Warehouse Assistant?
In this dual-purpose role, you are much more than just a driver—you are the face of our business. You’ll need a flexible, "can-do" attitude to balance life on the road with the fast-paced environment of our branch warehouse. No two days are ever the same, and your character and enthusiasm are what will make the difference to our customers.
On the Road
- You’ll be responsible for loading your vehicle and delivering essential goods to a variety of sites, ensuring our customers receive a fantastic service every time you pull up.
In the Warehouse
- When you’re not behind the wheel, you’ll be in the thick of the action—unloading supplier deliveries, picking orders with precision, and supporting the team on the trade counter.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
