Andy Gregg School of Motoring is a learner-focused, community-driven driving school dedicated to helping individuals become safe and responsible drivers. The school supports learners in achieving their driving licenses through structured, confidence-building instruction. In addition to working with new drivers, Andy Gregg School of Motoring also supports and sponsors aspiring driving instructors, helping them develop professional qualifications. Role Description
The Driving Instructor role is a full-time remote position focused on delivering high-quality driving instruction and support to learners. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Planning and conducting driving lessons
- Teaching road safety principles
- Preparing learners for theory and practical driving tests
- Providing constructive feedback
- Documenting learner progress
- Adjusting lesson plans to meet individual needs and abilities

The role also involves:
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of traffic laws and best practices
- Communicating clearly with learners and, where appropriate, their families
- Collaborating with the school to support and mentor aspiring driving instructors
Instructors are expected to uphold the school’s standards for safety, professionalism, and learner-centered teaching.
Qualifications
- Strong Driving Instruction and Driver Training skills and experience
- Solid Road Safety knowledge and a commitment to promoting safe driving habits
- Relevant Truck Driving or other advanced driving experience, where applicable to the training offered
- Training and coaching abilities, including the capacity to tailor instruction to different learning styles
- Valid driving license with an excellent driving record and compliance with local regulatory requirements for driving instructors
- Clear communication skills, patience, and the ability to build learner confidence in a professional and respectful manner
- Strong organizational skills, including lesson planning, record-keeping, and time management in a remote working environment
- Previous experience as a driving instructor or in driver education is preferred; relevant instructor certifications are an advantage
