About DriveThruL Driving School
DriveThruL is an established driving school based in Canary Wharf, teaching learners across East and South East London since 2008. We bring in the pupils through our website and booking system, match each one to an instructor who covers their area, and give instructors an online dashboard for their diary, pupils and payments.
We are growing, and pupils are asking for lessons in areas where we do not yet have enough instructors. We are looking for self-employed driving instructors to take on those pupils.
Where we need you most
- Walthamstow, Leyton and Chingford (E17, E10, E4)
- Hackney and Clapton (E5, E8, E9)
- Stratford and Forest Gate (E15, E7)
- Ilford, Barking and Romford (IG, RM)
- South East London: Bermondsey, Southwark, Lewisham, Greenwich, Woolwich (SE1 to SE18)
- Dartford and Bexley (DA)

What you need
- A full DVSA ADI badge (green badge). Trainee instructors (PDI, pink badge) are also welcome to apply.
- Your own dual controlled car, manual or automatic, with valid MOT, tax and instructor insurance
- A current enhanced DBS check, or willingness to get one
- A smartphone, and to check your dashboard regularly so pupils hear back quickly
- Patience, reliability and a friendly, professional manner with learners of all ages

How it works
This is a self-employed role. You teach under your own badge and keep control of your hours. We send you pupils in your area, and a fixed introduction fee applies for each pupil you accept. Full details are explained before you join.
