Drying Technician
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drying Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for undertaking and managing the restoration of water and fire damaged properties. Your expertise will help streamline our drying processes, uphold safety standards, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced, hands-on environment dedicated to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Operate various drying machinery and equipment with precision and care to achieve desired moisture levels.
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform routine strip out.
- Monitor process parameters continuously, making real-time adjustments to optimise drying performance.
- Conduct inspections of materials before, during, and after the drying process to ensure appropriate post restoration reinstatement works are scheduled.
- Maintain detailed logs of operational data, equipment status, and power consumption.
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper handling of tools and adherence to safety guidelines in a construction environment.
- Collaborate with team members to improve procedures, reduce downtime, and enhance overall productivity.

Requirements
- Prior experience and competence undertaking restoration work.
- Proven experience with hand tools, power tools, and working within a construction environments.
- Ability to read technical manuals and operate machinery safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Construction experience or familiarity with construction and repair work.
