DSP Engineer in Manchester

We are partnered with a globally recognised audio technology organisation behind professional products used by musicians, producers, engineers, venues, and touring professionals around the world.

They are looking for a DSP Engineer in Manchester with a passion for audio and digital technology to contribute to the development of innovative professional audio products. This is an opportunity to develop and optimise the digital signal processing technology that shapes how audio is created, processed, and delivered worldwide.

Role Responsibilities

In this DSP Engineer role in Manchester, you will:

  • Develop and optimise digital signal processing algorithms for professional audio applications
  • Implement and test real-time audio processing solutions, focusing on performance and sound quality
  • Work across software, firmware, and hardware teams to integrate DSP into complex audio products
  • Contribute to product development, system-level integration, testing, and performance optimisation
  • Investigate new algorithms, tools, and technologies to enhance audio performance and functionality

Requirements

The ideal DSP Engineer will have:

  • Experience in digital signal processing, DSP software development, or a related engineering discipline
  • Knowledge of real-time processing, digital audio, or signal processing algorithms
  • Experience with relevant programming languages and tools such as C, C++, MATLAB, or Python
  • An understanding of embedded systems, hardware and software integration, or digital audio platforms
  • A genuine passion for audio technology, music, or professional sound products
