About SOAP Music
SOAP Music is an independent music strategy company helping artists, managers and labels build engaged audiences through DSP strategy, audience development and streaming optimisation.
The role
We are looking for a DSP & Platform Relations Manager to strengthen our work across Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, Deezer, SoundCloud and other relevant platforms.
Working closely with SOAP Music’s directors and campaign team, you will manage release pitching, identify platform opportunities, monitor performance and develop relationships with DSP partners.
This is an internally focused role with no direct client-management responsibilities. It also extends beyond editorial pitching, requiring an understanding of how platform tools, audience signals, content, data and relationships work together to support artist growth.
Key responsibilities
- Develop DSP strategies and recommendations across SOAP Music’s artist and label campaigns.
- Prepare and manage release pitches, working with the internal team to identify the strongest campaign information and opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with DSP editorial, artist-services and partnership teams.
- Monitor performance and identify opportunities for re-pitching and further campaign activity.
- Maintain pitching calendars, campaign records, platform contacts and DSP intelligence.
- Keep the team informed about platform developments, best practice and new opportunities.
- Attend occasional gigs and meetings in London with DSP and industry partners.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
