What You Can Expect
As a DTS Shoulder Clinical Sales Specialist (CSS) you will execute successful programs for the ROSA™ system in addition to periodic assistance for ROSA™ on the clinical level. The DTS Shoulder Clinical Sales Specialist also plays a critical role in building the utilization of ROSA™ system. Within the job, you would be responsible for working alongside the Sales Representatives, Key Account Manager’s and Regional Sales Manager to service hospitals and provide technical support to all the stakeholders across our Digital & Technology Solution portfolio. Part of this includes ensuring that the whole experience of using Zimmer Biomet products and services to the complete surgical team is free flowing securing high levels of customer satisfaction at all times.
Additionally as a CSS you will deliver bespoke training to ensure Surgeons and Scrub Staff are competent to operate safely and efficiently with Zimmer Biomet products attending surgery as necessary to provide real-time support to cases.
How You'll Create Impact
- Provide initial clinical support and facilitate the on-boarding of the hospital team for switch from conventional to robotic assisted procedures using ROSA™ system.
- Support ROSA™ robotics promotional and educational activities in EMEA, including on-site support at educational congresses and other local and country cluster promotional and educational activities.
- Visit KOLs together with the local SET team to increase surgeon’s knowledge and ROSA utilization.
- Engaging the internal Clinical Team to needed Knowledge.
- Lead surgical teams through training pathways designed to educate and train surgeons, OR staff, sterilization and radiology on the ROSA™ robotic system.
- Together with Sales team, develops a hospital specific multi-disciplinary plan to successfully complete on-boarding episode, increase robotic-assisted surgery procedures and develop follow-up sales opportunities.
- On-boarding the local Sales Rep to take-over the clinical support after the onboarding episode is completed, follow-up the account post-implementation day.
- In partnership with the hospital and the Sales team, develops and supports implementation of patient-information to raise awareness for robotic-assisted surgery as an alternative to conventional surgery, tailored to the local market opportunity.
- Connect with both the ZB Edge and the local Sales team to drive excitement for robotic-assisted surgery and achieving business goals.
- Support advance technology upgrades.
- Educate teams and further enhance ZB Edge Suite experience of integrated technologies.

- Demonstrate the ability to accept and adapt to different working practices as required by surgeons and hospitals whilst maintaining company protocols.
- Strong knowledge of product portfolio.
- Proficient in training internal & external stakeholders.
- Understanding of technical medical language and anatomy to interact with surgeons and theatre staff.
- Proven organizational skills and effective time management.
- Confident and engaging presentation skills.
- Being able to proactively solve problems in a quick and efficient manner.
- Ability to apply Project Management skills in an effort of advancing ROSA™ account development.
Your Background
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Outstanding networking capabilities and sound business acumen to identify, plan, and execute on services.
- Experience across Orthopedics, with specific knowledge of robotic assisted procedures.
- Significant level of clinical expertise.
- Strong presentations skills, customer centric, relationship and communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with target orientation and organizational skills.
- Analytical approach with a passion for problem solving.
- Team spirit, willing to learn.
Travel Expectations
Significant travel throughout region with occasional international travel.
