We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing energy infrastructure business with a strong presence across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for a fully qualified Dual Fuel Engineer to join a business investing heavily in its people, training, technology and long-term future.

The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, our client is looking to appoint a Dual Fuel Engineer to cover the CA postcode area. You will play a key role in delivering smart metering services to customers, representing the business professionally in the field and helping maintain high levels of safety, compliance and customer satisfaction.

This role would suit an engineer who is technically strong, customer-focused and motivated by the chance to increase earnings through bonus, overtime and callout opportunities.
What You'll Be Doing
- Installing and maintaining smart meters to a high technical standard
- Carrying out communication testing for metering and loggers
- Delivering a positive customer experience on every visit
- Proactively communicating with customers ahead of appointments
- Working closely with delivery support teams to ensure smooth job completion
- Maintaining safety standards and following all working procedures
- Managing stock, tools and company equipment responsibly
- Supporting colleagues with problematic jobs and emergency cover where required
- Promoting the benefits of smart metering clearly and professionally to customers
- Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement, technical excellence and safe working practices

What We're Looking For
To be considered, you must have:
- Previous Dual Fuel Smart Metering experience
- CMA1/CCN1, REGT1, MET1 and MET2
- Level 2 Diploma in Smart Metering (Dual Fuel/Power) or proof of electrical competence
- Strong technical ability with a focus on exceptional first fit levels
- A proactive approach to pre-visit customer communication
- Good knowledge of industry governance and compliance
- A full UK driving licence
