Are you a qualified Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer looking for excellent earning potential, structured work and the security of working directly for an established energy supplier?

You'll Receive a Base Salary Of £38,993, Alongside Uncapped Earning Potential And a Variety Of Opportunities To Boost Your Overall Earnings, Including

  • On-call payment: Receive £330 for each on-call week, based on an average rota of one week in five. (OTE of £42,293 just with the base salary and conducting mandatory on call requirements)
  • Industry-leading installation bonus: Benefit from an uncapped installation bonus of £25 per meter or £50 per dual installation once you have completed a minimum of four installations in a day, with additional work opportunities available to further enhance your earnings.
  • London weighting: Receive an additional £2,000 annual allowance if you live within the M25.
  • Enhanced overtime: Enhanced overtime rates for Sunday working.

Alongside your salary and uncapped earning potential, you will receive 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, a healthcare scheme, mental wellbeing support, access to 24/7 GP and counselling services, and a generous pension scheme. You will also receive one paid volunteering day each year and have opportunities to win tickets to events at Utilita-sponsored arenas and football matches.

You will be scheduled an average of 4 jobs per day, with an average travel time to jobs of approximately 35 minutes between appointments.

We aim to schedule your work several weeks in advance, giving you greater visibility of your schedule. This helps you plan life outside work while still giving you the opportunity to take on additional work when it suits you.

What you will be doing.

As a Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer, you will represent Utilita in customers’ homes, installing smart meters safely and professionally across domestic properties.

You will play an important role in delivering our customer-first approach, providing a positive experience while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and service.

What We Need From You.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need:

  • Smart Metering qualifications, including CCN1 or CMA1 and MET1, or equivalent.
  • At least 12 months experience working as a Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer.
  • A valid full UK driving licence.
