Dual Registered Manager – Children’s EBD Homes
Slough | £80,000 | Clear route into RI, Quality or Operations
This is not just another Registered Manager vacancy. We are recruiting for an experienced children’s residential leader to take dual registration across two EBD homes in Slough, located just five minutes apart.
One home is already established, with:
- A highly stable staff team
- Several team members with around six years’ service
- A strong Deputy Manager in place
- A current RM available to support a full handover
- A completed improvement plan following a Requires Improvement Ofsted rating
The second service is a new three-bed EBD home currently progressing towards registration.
The successful person will:
- Lead both homes through transition and registration
- Drive quality and support the existing home back to Good
- Coach and develop the Deputies towards future RM positions
- Build a strong, consistent culture across both services
- Play a central role in the provider’s wider expansion plans
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
