Dubbing Mixer

Contract: Initial 6 months
Rate: £37.50 per hour PAYE
Start: As soon as possible
Location: TBC

We’re seeking an experienced Dubbing Mixer to join a busy post production team, delivering high-quality audio for longform and shortform content across broadcast, streaming and promotional projects.

You’ll take work from recording and tracklaying through to sound design, mixing and delivery. You’ll bring strong technical skills and creative judgement, while creating a welcoming, organised environment for voice talent, producers and other collaborators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead recording sessions with voice talent, producers and other stakeholders, both on site and remotely.
  • Tracklay, edit dialogue, sound-design, mix and deliver content across a range of languages, styles and genres.
  • Create mixes, stems and other audio elements for transmission and other uses.
  • Prepare for sessions and liaise with production stakeholders to ensure the correct media and materials are available.
  • Work independently or with direction, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining quality.
  • Follow post production workflows, operational procedures and naming conventions.
  • Carry out quality control, metadata entry and documentation accurately.
  • Keep colleagues and stakeholders informed about project progress and any issues.
  • Work collaboratively with bookings, edit assistants, editors, department management and other teams.
  • Report technical issues with audio suites, hardware or software to the relevant teams.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
