About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Duct Fitter’s Mate for an immediate start with Northern Ventilation. Working on various commercial and industrial construction sites throughout the North East, you will work closely alongside an experienced Duct Fitter, assisting with the installation of ventilation and ductwork systems.
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 07:00/07:30 – 15:30/16:30
- Friday: 07:00/07:30 – 13:00/13:30
Enjoy a stable flat 38-hour week with an early finish every Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of spiral, rectangular, and flexible ductwork systems.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment safely around the site.
- Measure, cut, and prep materials under the direction of the lead fitter.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.

Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience working as a mate or labourer within ductwork or HVAC systems is required.
- CSCS Card: Must hold a valid CSCS Card / SkillCard (Labourer or Mate level).
- Travel: Willingness to travel to various site locations across the North East.
- Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence and own transport is highly desirable, but not essential if you can reliably reach sites.

What We Offer
- Pay: £12.81 per hour.
- Overtime: Enhanced rates available for extra hours.
