Job Description

The Due Diligence Coordinator supports the effective delivery of the Due Diligence Programme by carrying out core monitoring, research, and data-management activities under the guidance of the Due Diligence Specialist.

The role assists in the identification, verification, and assessment of counterparty information to ensure compliance with De Beers’ regulatory, legislative, and internal requirements. It contributes to the accuracy of Sightholder disclosures, the integrity of the BPP SMART System, and the timely escalation of potential risks.

Working as part of the Ethical Initiatives and Sustainable Value Chains team, the role develops foundational skills in due diligence, open-source research, red-flag assessment, and disclosure governance. It supports routine and structured due diligence processes (including monitoring, 10% Checks and data updates) while also contributing to issue-specific and extraordinary investigations as a development opportunity. The position additionally provides operational support to the function that handles De Beers’ scheduled customer sales cycles and the end-to-end shipping process, ensuring continuity of compliance activities during periods of Specialist absence.

Overall, the role provides essential operational support within the due diligence function, ensuring tasks are completed accurately, consistently, and in line with established processes, while building capability and experience to progress toward more complex risk-analysis responsibilities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
